Bidaia's first CD came out in July 2003.
Well received by the press & the general public (see the "press"
section of our website).
At the root of the album’s
concept is the idea of a maiden voyage (Bidaia) from the Basque
provinces to other parts of the world.
Oihan (« Forest » in Basque) - the main character and the name
of the album - asks the basque leprechauns (« laminak ») to help
him find his true love (« maitagarri »). He searches throughout
the forest and finds her in the person of Inah (song « Inah
heldu da »). |
